Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Ordered the House platter. It is a lot of food. You could easily split this with at least one other person. It has a ton of fried cocktail shrimp. Didnβt notice much crab in the deviled crab. Home fries lacked salt. Coleslaw tasted like it was just shredded cabbage with thinned out mayo. No zing of vinegar or fennel to perk it up. There are a bunch of picnic tables inside and it is air conditioned but get in line before it opens because they fill up fast. Luckily there are also picnic tables outside.

I am a bit disappointed for trying this place for the first time. I ordered a regular 3 combo that was Oysters, Scallops and Clam Strips for $22 with an upcharge of $2 each for the oysters and scallops. I was surprised to only find 4 pieces of oysters in the box with a small amount of clam strips, the only thing that was abundant was the fries, and a lot of scallops but was very disappointed that I paid a lot for barely anything especially the upcharge. I did get a large shrimp which was great. I tried calling the number to say something but it just keeps ringing, there is no email or contact area on the site. If I didn't have a long ways to go there I would absolutely would have driven back with the box.

Ginormous portions! Great place to eat at if you are visiting the farmers market. The service was great and the food was good. We were surprised at the portion sizes! Enough for like three people to share. Be prepared to smell like fish when you leave!

The amount of food for the price was more than fair, cooked fully. However, it was flavorless. The slaw was (and I'm a slaw lover) bad! Couldn't eat it... the hushpuppies were good, but my Trout and shrimp were only fair at best. I ate a 3rd of my plate and brought the rest to my puppy, she didn't have any problem with it. There was 17 in our group and the overall consensus was about the same as mine.... one other thing, it's a madhouse when it comes to seating, it was a picnic table that we had to clean ourselves.

My kids and I enjoyed food in here. I ordered House Platter with shrimp, flounder, oysters, scallops and deviled crab. Plus some chicken tenders and soup of the day - clam chowder. Flounder and deviled crab were delicious, french fries were under salted. Soup was delicious and very hot. They donβt have regular water in the soda machine and the soda machine wasnβt dispensing the flavor, just the carbonated water. The staff was polite and friendly and they had a lady taking orders from the people in line, so it was going faster.
